Phil Hughes. 20 years old. Second test. 115 first innings. 136 not out second innings. Youngest player ever to score two centuries in the same test. And you should have seen some of the shots he was playing.
England need to start working out how to get him out in time for the Ashes.

Date: 2009-03-10 03:58 pm (UTC)Hughes got a 4th ball duck in his first Test, trying to uppercut Dale Steyn over the slips. Sounds like he has carried on in the same vein. But batting like that he will give you a chance or two- you just have to make sure you take it. Michael Slater used to play the same way.
