Politicians should get angry

philmophlegmAustralian PM Kevin Rudd's reaction to the Australian bush fires and the probability that at least some of them were started deliberately seems to me completely natural because he seems both upset and angry. He says what most Australians will be thinking.

I can't imagine any British or American politician making a statement with such honesty and apparent lack of spin. Of course it could be that there is spin here, and it's all part of an act, but he's got me fooled if that's the case.
