The Met Office
Feb. 6th, 2009 10:30 am200 people apparently had to be rescued from their cars on the A38 at Exeter last night because of the snow.
This was snow that wasn't forecast (I know this because I checked the BBC website yesterday afternoon).
The Met Office is based about two miles from where this happened.
If The Met Office can't forecast the weather two miles from its own base, what hope is there for the rest of the country?
