Building a new PC, part 13
Apr. 18th, 2008 08:50 pmFollowing the triumph of the RAM voltage fix, the next issue to deal with was why I couldn't get the Nvidia control panel to work (part of the graphics card drivers). I had to go away on business for a few days before getting the chance to fix it, but I wasn't too worried...
And I was right not to be - I just installed a newer version of the drivers and everything's hunky-dory. Meanwhile Bunn has set up network access and installed an AV program (we have a strict division of IT labour in our house - anything that Bunn could be considered a pro at, she has to do).
So the hard part is pretty much over. All that is left to do is install and configure everything, benchmark it to see how fast it really is and then maybe think about a little overclocking.
