A colleague of mine at JOLF owns a scallop fishing boat, which her father-in-law fishes from off the Devon coast.

On Sunday, they caught something other than scallops...

When we were in Shetland, we came across a couple of closed roads. The news later reported that a fisherman had caught a few old shells. He took them inland, then dumped them.

I'm intrigued that they thought it was German and dated from the 20s, weren't we at peace then?
