White buzzard
Jan. 28th, 2008 04:39 pmI've been working for Clare Associates today, in the large upstairs room that we still call the 'games room' (it has a dartboard and a broken Sega Dreamcast). Through the window, across the lane, I can see a field. And in that field today has been a particularly white buzzard.
Buzzards are very common in our area. They are also notable for having very variable plumage. But I've never seen one that was quite this white before.
Obviously someone else has. Because a quick google image search revealed this photo, which looks very much like the Chilworthy white buzzard.
