The Great LukeSki
Jan. 24th, 2008 11:02 pmIs anyone familiar with his work?
I mention him because I think a number of people on my friends list would appreciate the humour.
Particularly...
...LadyofAstolat.
Take his song 'A Man Called Jayne' for example. It's the song that you would get if Wash from Firefly was a big fan of Johnny Cash and his favourite song was 'A Boy Called Sue' and he was aware of his existence outside of the fictional programme. Oh and it's a Futurama crossover. Obviously.
On the same album is 'Grease Wars', which combines two of the biggest grossing movies of the late seventies, getting the entire plot of Star Wars episode 4 and all of the songs of Grease into one eleven minute track. ("It's Obi Wan that I want, Obi's the one that I want, ooh ooh ooooh...")
Available from almost no good music shops, download services or the adverts you get on UK Gold in the afternoon, but it is available from http://www.thegreatlukeski.com/ .
