Ah - thanks for this, it might be the fix to a problem I have.

I've seen a lot of suggested fixes for what seems to be a common problem. None of the other ones has worked for me; this one has worked on both occasions I've had the problem.

The problem started after I'd moved to Windows 10, so don't know if it's connected to that. Simple fix though.

I have had Steam connection failures before, but they don't look like this, and they usually resolve themselves when I restart Steam. *shrug*
