We've just had a bunch of new stock in at The Shop on the Borderlands. One item in particular that I thought mighty possibly be of interest to some people here is a brand new boardgame called 'Dreaming Spires'...

It looks like a realy nice game. The object is to build your own Oxford college and grow it from medieval times to modern*. Various celebrity scholars like J.R.R. Tolkien are represented on cards. The winner is the college with the best reputation at the end of the game.

I had a vague feeling that I'd seen this game mentioned in Oxford Today**. I was right. Here's the interview.
Anyway, you can buy Dreaming Spires at all good games stores, but especially The Shop on the Borderlands! £39.99 with free UK shipping.
* I wonder if the Oxford Tolkien Society still has a vague long-term ambition to found 'Tolkien College, Oxford' on the site of Keble...
** The English language's dullest magazine. And I say this as someone who used to get 'Accountancy' every month.
