Steam Summer Sale
Jul. 12th, 2013 10:45 pmAnyone got any recommendations for bargains in the Steam sale?
Games that I can recommend:
So, can anyone recommend any more bargains that I might have missed? Anyone care to offer an opinion on Chivalry (£4.74), Surgeon Simulator 2013 (£2.37), The Walking Dead (£5.24), Legend of Grimrock (£2.99), Far Cry 3 (£11.99), Grand Theft Auto IV (£4.99), Bioshock Infinite (£17.49), Dishonored (£8.99), Tomb Raider (the new one) (£14.99), Torchlight II (£7.49) or for that matter anything else in the sale?
Games that I can recommend:
- FTL is a game I never got fully into, but it is quite diverting, and some people love it. Worth a punt for just £1.74. Quite Travelleresque in a way.
- Just Cause 2 looks fab, and has fun moments. Probably best to avoid the plot and just treat it as a silly open world shooter. Certainly worth £1.99.
- XCOM Enemy Unknown is very, very good, but also very, very hard. If you like turn based tactical wargames, it's definitely worth £7.49.
- For multiplayer FPS zombie fun, you can't beat Left 4 Dead 2 (£3.73).
- The Witcher 2 is one of my favourite RPGs of recent years (I actually preferred it to Skyrim). Bargain at £7.49.
