A house on our street has a large Union Flag hung upside-down, alas... Enjoy the wedding!

Slightly annoyingly, all the Union Flags I bought were attached to their sticks upside down, but this was easily rectified. Even then, we managed to hang them upside down when we hung them out of the window at first (and this only became obvious when we went outside to admire our work!)

It's much harder to work out when you're looking at them upside-down, isn't it!

And inside-out! And at ninety degrees to their usual orientation. I then had doubts about whether the Welsh Dragon should face up or down, but the way we hung them (with the pole in the window frame) meant that they could only be hung one way anyway.

I think they would be more distressed if I asked them why their flag is upside-down!

You surprise me, I wouldn't have had you down as someone who would have been that interested in the wedding.

When my Mum found out that I wasn't planning to watch it she demanded to know if I'd turned into an anti-royalist :-D and was I think equally horrified at my answer that I just wasn't that interested in it all. Though I think that was magnified by the fact I missed my train on Tuesday night thanks to having to skirt round the people camped outside the Abbey :-(

Oh definitely - big royalist, me. My attention wasn't wholly devoted to the events at Westminster though. I was also working on Gleen of the Seventeen Pillars...
