Treating myself

Had a bit of money so I thought 'why not?'
I'm not very fussy about keyboards.
I'm very fussy about mice.
I'm incredibly fussy about mouse mats.
So...
I've ordered a new keyboard for Scatha (my main gaming PC), as much because the old one was grubby and beige as for any other reason. The new keyboard is a Microsoft / Razer Reclusa. It hasn't arrived yet, so I cannot comment on it.
I've bought a new mouse. It's a Razer DeathAdder (what a cool name!). It's black and scary. I haven't plugged it in or installed the driver and profile software yet, so I will report back when this has been done.
I've bought a new mouse mat. It's a Razer eXactMat (tovaglia must be in fits with all these capital letters in the middle of words!) and I can report that it is without doubt the best mouse mat I have ever used. It's big, it's heavy, it's black. It has a smooth side and a course side for speed and control respectively. It came with one of those gel wrist rests, but I have decided that for me at least that raises the wrist in an unergonomic fashion - a position likly to increase the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome.
