21. What is your favourite pub? Pubs are usually too smoky and noisy for my tastes. The smokiness will go soon, and there are occasional pubs where you can actually sit down and have a conversation. Antiquiy Hall in Oxford was quite nice. You could even borrow board games from behind the bar. I've never quite forgiven neuromancer for not letting me have 'ax' in a game of Tolkien scrabble.

31. What is your favourite tube station? I tend to go by taxi if I can help it. I don't usually like public transport at the best of times. I don't really like London. I don't really like standing up in hot, confined spaces deep underground. And I don't like hanging around waiting. So I try to avoid the London Underground.

33. What was the last thing you bought at Lush? Some stuff for Bunn's mum's birthday, although Bunn paid. Last things I bought would have been various things last Christmas.

34. What is your most embarrassing nickname? At school I was called 'Polo', at work, I'm sometimes called 'Marcus Policus'. Neither is especially embarrassing. I don't like being called Polesy because it sounds like a medical condition.

37. What do you order at Wagamama? Only been in one once (in London, with Deity and her friend Nectar). Horrid stuff. I think I had some kind of worm soup.
