I tend to avoid consuming anything unless I really can't obtain it second hand within family or friends although I do make certain exceptions once in a while such as I do occasionally buy shoes and prefer new when it comes a phone. When I say new over a phone, I mean I would purchase a brand new phone at a very old model that works ok still with apps but one with no previous owner. I'm very anti media brain washing and spending money unless I absolutely prioritise it.
