Twitter flattery

Magdalen College, Oxford follows a grand total of eight people on Twitter.

Six of those are other colleges and university organisations.

The seventh is Martha Lane-Fox, who is, you know, famous.

And as of today, the eighth is me.

Which, while flattering, is somewhat puzzling. I mean I'm hardly the most prolific 'tweeter'. And I'm not exactly famous.

I'm not sure if the identity of the Magdalen computer officer is relevant? I could ask him as he's coming round on Sunday!

It looks like it's the alumni office, rather than the IT department. Mind you if pelago is a close friend of Martha, then your theory may have some legs!
